Gobelinus, The New-Goblins
The new Goblins: Goblins have always been prone to mutation and easily suspectable to physical alternation and in keeping with their ancestors habbits the goblins have continued to experiment on their own kind this has lead to numerous failures and alternations of the base goblinoid species with the most successful and persistant listed below.
Hook-Nose Goblins
Notes: A rare offshoot of goblins Hook-Nose Goblins are said to have been the result of hobgoblins interbreeding with hags, others claim they share very distant troll blood, none are entirely sure, most agree they were the result of a breeding program started by the hobgoblins to create perfect caste of soliders or recreate the Ghoblyns of old. What is known is that these goblins are born to a desire for murder and mayham that make them valuable to Hobgoblin armies as assassins and commandos. Standing tall and lean, these goblins have large bat-like ears, sharp features and over-long noses. Their appear lanky even gangly but are faster and stronger then outward appearances would suggest. Though they have formed their own settlements and cultures since becoming free of the hobgoblins the breeding program and indoctrination as elite killers have left their mark on hook-nose Goblin culture.

Brutog:
Notes: Short, squat well-muscled goblinoids with thick durable hides, mouths full of sharp fangs, and a deep proclivity for violence. For ages, Brutog were wrongly labeled as proto-goblins and viewed as the ancestors to modern goblinoids. It was only after extensive research that it became apparent that the Brutog were created by the hobgoblins. Brutog are dull-witted, aggressive creatures living in Stone Age hunter-gatherer cultures, their dim wits and natural strength and armor making up for their lack of understanding of metalwork or fire. They prize the goods of more civilized folk, often gathering into raiding gangs to rob travelers or caravans. Savage as they are, Brutog often find themselves pressed into service by Hobgoblins and joining larger groups of goblins where they delight in the mayhem of their goblinoid kin.
