Luminous Paddle Worms
A popular bait and a fairly common sight underwater gathering at laylines to mate and lay their eggs. These segmented filter feeding worms move via numerous paddles along their segmented bodies. They are a common prey item both for arcanivores and carnivores of mundane nature. Their most well known trait is their bioluminescent qualaties that are used to attract mates and persists for for several hours after death thus making these glowing sea worms quite attractive to larger predators. These hermaphroditic worms produce often and on masse, shear numbers being their primary form of survival.
