The Creation of the Sun, the Lantern of the Custodians
The Radiant Birth of the Latern of the Custodians
In the age of primordial chaos, after the Elder Gods had shaped the world of Syann and its celestial bodies from the slumbering elder beasts, there was still one crucial element missing from the cosmos—the Sun. The Custodian Gods recognized the need for a great source of light and energy to illuminate the world and bring warmth to its surface. And so, they gathered in solemn council to discuss the creation of the central star that would grace their solar system.
Zith, the custodian of time and space, suggested that they could create the Sun by harnessing the most potent energies of the cosmos. But this endeavor required the collaboration of all the Custodian Gods. The task was momentous, for the Sun would be the heart of Syann's solar system, the source of life for all that inhabited it.
Each Custodian God brought forth a portion of their divine essence and power, infusing it into a celestial orb forged from the most radiant and resilient energies found in the cosmos. Trather, the god of magic and good, contributed his pure essence of benevolence and hope. Arcadies, the god of law and knowledge, added his wisdom and stability. Mithila, the goddess of chaos and the primal elements, infused the Sun with her unrestrained and untamed energies. Sinda, the goddess of secrets and ambition, provided a spark of cunning and ambition. And finally, Zith himself bestowed upon the Sun the unyielding flow of time and the ability to maintain its cosmic balance.
As the Custodian Gods channeled their divine energies into the celestial sphere at the center of the solar system, it began to pulse and glow with an ethereal light. The orb grew larger and brighter until it reached a critical point. Then, in a glorious burst of cosmic energy, the Sun, the Lantern of the Custodians was born.
Hung in the void at the center of Syann's solar system, a magnificent and awe-inspiring sight to behold. Its intense light illuminated the darkness, and its warmth spread across the cosmos, touching every corner of the world. A burning ball of cosmic energy and imbued with a portion of the divine spark of each of the custodian gods and goddesses and an essential element of creation.
A mix of magic and science, of the supernatural and the natural laws of the cosmos, a lesson that magic and nature go hand in hand in our world, that nature is magical and magic is a natural force.
The different gifts that the gods gave to make the sun is wonderful.
