Bedside Arrangements

This article is a Work in Progress and will be finished soon™

"Ease your mind and warm your soul"
The proud people of Stunveldt Island place a lot of importance in the emotional care of their bedridden population.
Part of this evolved into a complex tradition of arranging specific symbolic items next to the bed of the afflicted to improve their mood and health, with each item carrying a significance and goal on their own.

Elements

Cuppat Skull

The cuppat is a native creature from the island most known in the rest of the Archipelago for its use in the manufacturing of cuppat's dust, but for the Stunveldti the real treasure of these little crawlers is in their bones, specially the skulls, which are believed to pull aches and pains away from the afflicted that keep them close.

Meditating Lyraiks

Dolls and statuettes of lyraiks sitting, with their little hands together and their eyes closed are used to bring peace to the person, who may touch the nose of the lyraik to "connect" with it and meditate together.

Aromatic Herbs

Plants that give off different scents are made into bouquets (Sometimes wrapped in lightweight fabric to prevent the dry leaves and flowers from spreading around) and added to the arrangements to diffusse relaxing or freshening aromas through the room. Sometimes the herbs are replaced with oils and perfumes for a stronger effect, but the whole plants are preferred for their symbolic prescense.

Fun concept. I like that little skulls and figurines are comforting.
