Temple of Tremormin

"Everyone has a place in this world, let's find yours"
— Priest of Termomin
In the Autonomist faith followed by the Dhalmanite, Tremormin is the representation of the "Law of Directions", or the existence of directions itself.   Followers of the Law of Directions reunite in the main Temple in Port Kursowa, in the easternmost coast area of the Dhalmain Island.
Port Kursowa is one of the biggest ports on the island, due to its convenient location in the closest point to the islands of Thaur, Stunveldt, Ruh and even Karte, which greatly benefits Tremormin's main patronage: the sailors and travelling merchants, a lot of whom get to live in the town of their deity.

The teachings of Tremormin

Priests of Tremormin explain that he was created so that the universe would be able to understand the Space, and so that everyone could find their place in it.
As such the Law of Directions is taught as a guide, and a guarantee that everyone has a place in the universe. His devotees meditate focusing their thoughts on Tremormin to find that place and honour him doing their best to fit their purpose in life.

Social Services

Temples and Priests of Tremormin around the island offer services to the members of the population that find themselves lost or without a direction for their life, helping them learn about themselves to find a purpose and vocation that fits them.
Whenever possible, the Temple will help match young Dhalmanites with professionals that could mentor them in their vocation, and even help source the means for the apprentices to travel or cover the costs of their apprenticeship.   The temples sustain themselves selling maps made by their priests, who usually learn cartography as part of their vocation. Decorated compassess, keys, exotic goods and clothes are often donated by the devoutees for the priests to sell and keep their doors and services open to the public.

Aw, I love that the temple helps people find their place in life. :)

Love the concept of a belief that helps you seek your skill in life, though I can't help to imagine them now just asking me where I see myself in 5-10 years. It is nice for them to finance any costs for travel or apprenticeship, they seem like a nice bunch!   I'm curious if they have any sort of bribery from local professionals or organisations though, like paying up for the temple to lead people to their businesses or groups over that of a rival one.   Great article!
