Leyandril Fadeleaf
Born to an elven mother and a human father, Leyandril was always somewhat of an outcast. He never quite fit in with either society, and often found solace in the stories his mother would tell him of the elven goddess of love and beauty, Sune. As he grew older, he became increasingly drawn to her teachings, and eventually devoted himself fully to her as a Paladin.
Leyandril's devotion to Sune was unwavering, and he dedicated himself to spreading her message of love and beauty wherever he went. He traveled the land, preaching her teachings and defending those in need, always with a smile on his face and a song in his heart.
But then, tragedy struck. Leyandril's closest friend and fellow Paladin, a human woman named Aria, was killed in battle. He was devastated by her loss, and for the first time in his life, began to question his faith.
Enter Shar. The goddess of darkness and loss saw an opportunity in Leyandril's grief, and began to whisper to him in his dreams. She promised him that if he turned away from Sune and pledged his allegiance to her, he would be granted the power to bring his friend back from the dead. Desperate to undo the loss he had suffered, Leyandril broke his oath to Sune and turned to Shar.
Of course, Shar had no intention of bringing Aria back to life. Instead, she used Leyandril's newfound allegiance to manipulate him, turning him into an Oathbreaker. Under her influence, he began to use his powers for darker purposes, hurting those he once would have protected and ignoring the teachings of love and beauty he once held so dear.
But deep down, Leyandril knows that what he's doing is wrong. He's haunted by memories of Aria and the bright, hopeful Paladin he used to be. He's determined to find a way to redeem himself, to make up for the mistakes he's made and find his way back to Sune's teachings.
It's not easy, though. Shar still holds a powerful grip on him, and he finds himself drawn to her even as he knows he shouldn't be. He struggles with the conflicting emotions inside him, torn between his desire for revenge and his longing for the light.
Ultimately, though, Leyandril knows that he can't continue down this path forever. He's seen the damage he's caused, and he knows that he needs to make things right. He's determined to find a way to break free from Shar's influence and return to the teachings of Sune, no matter how difficult it may be. Only then will he truly be able to redeem himself and find the peace he so desperately craves.
