Bridgepoint
A week away from the capital, the town of Bridgeport sits on the cliffs that tower above the Canjil Jungle and swamp. Roped bridges lead out to the buttes that jut up from the swamp below.
Being the farthest town away front the seat of power, many mages come here to experiment freely. They have formed into rival guilds but act more like gang members than scholars. With the mages comes much trouble.
The town is a tangle of roads, alleyways, and paths, compounded by latent magic, they circle and twist back on each other.
Monsters frequently attack the town, whether they are summoned by the mages, wander up from the swamp, or are attracted to the magic.
The mages also bring wealth that separates those willing subjects from the hard working people of Bridgeport.
