5e Racial Stats
- Ability Score Racial Traits: A changeling increases their Charisma score by 2, and two other ability scores of your choice by 1.
- Type: Changelings are humanoids with the Fae and Shapechanger subtypes.
- Size: Changelings are medium.
- Speed: Changelings have a base speed of 30ft.
- Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and Sylvan.
Divergent Persona (1) (Su)
You gain proficiency with one skill or tool of your choice. Define a unique identity associated with that proficiency; establish the name, race, gender, age, and other details. While you are in the form of this persona, the related skill or tool gains Expertise instead, doubling your Proficiency bonus for any ability check you make that uses that skill or tool.
Duplicity (1) (Ex)
You gain proficiency in the Deception and Persuasion skills. This feature is not lost when you Shapechange.
Fey Ancestry (1) (Su)
You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.
Mind Reader (2) (Ma)
You can cast the detect thoughts spell once with this trait, without the need for components, and you regain this ability when you finish a short or long rest. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for this spell.
Shapechanger (1) (Ex)
As an action, you can polymorph into any humanoid of your size that is neither Undying nor Construct, that you have seen, or back into your true form; however, your equipment does not change with you. While shapechanged in this way, you lose any Ex abilities from this species, and gain one Ex ability of your choice from the shapechanged species. If you die, you revert to your natural appearance. You do not gain feats or proficiencies from species that you shapechange into.
The touch of Sylvan Silver causes an allergic reaction, make a DC 8 Constitution saving throw, on failure hives appear 1d10 minutes after physical skin to silver contact is made. These hives remain for 1 hour, or until a Lesser Restoration or similar spell is cast upon you. These hives have no other effect. On success, this allergy cannot occur for 1d4 days. This feature cannot be gained nor is it lost by Shapechanging.
Unsettling Visage (2) (Su)
When a creature you can see makes an attack roll against you, you can use your reaction to impose absolute disadvantage on the roll. Using this trait reveals your shapeshifting nature to any creature within 30 feet that can see you. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
