5e Racial Stats

• Ability Score Racial Traits: A kitsune increases their Dexterity score by 2, and one other ability score of their choice by 2.
• Type: Kitsune are humanoids with the Fae and Shapechanger subtypes.
• Size: Kitsune are medium.
• Speed: Kitsune have a base speed of 30ft.
• Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and Sylvan.

Darkvision (x) (Ex)

You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Duplicitous (1) (Ex)

A kitsune gains proficiency in the Deception and Sleight of Hand skills. This feature is not lost when you shapechange.

Illusion Sensitivity (1) (Su)

You have advantage on checks and saving throws made to see through or resist the effects of Illusion magic.

Kitsune Magic (2) (Ma)

You know the minor illusion cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the faerie fire spell as a 2nd-level spell once with this trait. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the invisibility spell once with this trait. You must finish a long rest to cast these spells once again with this trait. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for them.

Multilingual (1) (Su)

Your ability to shapechange goes beyond physical appearance and into a greater understanding of the forms nature. While shapechanged using your Shapechanger ability into a form other than your own, you gain the language trait of that form.

Shapechanger (1) (Ex)

As an action, you can polymorph into any humanoid of your size that is neither Undying nor Construct, that you have seen, or back into your true form; however, your equipment does not change with you. While shapechanged in this way, you lose any Ex abilities from this species, and gain one Ex ability of your choice from the shapechanged species. If you die, you revert to your natural appearance. You do not gain feats or proficiencies from species that you shapechange into.
The touch of Sylvan Silver causes an allergic reaction, make a DC 8 Constitution saving throw, on failure hives appear 1d10 minutes after physical skin to silver contact is made. These hives remain for 1 hour, or until a Lesser Restoration or similar spell is cast upon you. These hives have no other effect. On success, this allergy cannot occur for 1d4 days. This feature cannot be gained nor is it lost by Shapechanging.
