5e Racial Stats

  • Ability Score Racial Traits: An orc increases their Strength score by 2.
  • Type: Orcs are humanoids with the Goblinoid subtype.
  • Size: Orcs are medium.
  • Speed: Orcs have a base speed of 30ft.
  • Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and Orcish.

Darkvision (x)

You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Aggressive (2)

As a bonus action, you can move up to your speed toward an enemy of your choice that you can see or hear. You must end this move closer to the enemy than you started.

Powerful Build (1)

You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.

Primal Intuition (1)

You have proficiency in two of the following skills of your choice: Animal Handling, Insight, Intimidation, Medicine, Nature, Perception, and Survival.

Savage Attacks (2)

When you score a critical hit with a melee weapon attack, you can roll one of the weapon’s damage dice one additional time and add it to the extra damage of the critical hit.

Sub Races

Mountain Orc

Mountain orcs are the clans and tribes of orcish blood who grew within the rough and dangerous mountains of the realm, they are the most common-brood of orc-kin and are bigger, stronger, and tougher than the cousins.
  • Ability Score Racial Traits: Your Constitution score increases by 2.
  • Relentless Endurance (2): When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a long rest.
  • Orc Weapons Training (1): You have proficiency with the greataxe, javelin, spear, and battleaxe.

Orog

Orogs are the orcish brood found deep within The Depths of the realm, though not quite as large as their mountainous cousins, they make up for this with greater speed and agility, superior night vision, and a certain sense for blood.
  • Ability Score Racial Traits: Your Constitution and Dexterity scores both increase by 1.
  • Blood Hound (1): You have advantage on scent-based Wisdom (Perception) checks, and double your proficiency bonus on such checks when dealing with blood.
  • Heightened Agility (2): You have advantage on Initiative ability checks.
  • Superior Darkvision (x): Your darkvision has a radius of 120 feet.
  • Sunlight Sensitivity (x): You have disadvantage on attack rolls and on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight when you, the target of your attack, or whatever you are trying to perceive is in direct sunlight.

Tanarukk

Tanarukks are those orcs who have been cursed, or as some tribes view it, blessed by the demonic spirits or patrons of the realm. They are just as tough as their mountain kin, but through this demonic connection have grown more vicious and possess an enhanced resilience thanks to their demonic blood.
  • Ability Score Racial Traits: Your Constitution score increases by 2.
  • Bite (1): Your fanged maw is a natural weapon, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with it, you deal piercing damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
  • Demonic Resistance (2): You have resistance to fire damage.
  • Demon Speak (x): You can speak, read, and write Abyssal. Tanarukks often mix orc and Abyssal into one mixed language when speaking to each other.
