5e Racial Stats

  • Ability Score Racial Traits: A satyr increases their Charisma score by 2, and one other ability score of their choice by 2.
  • Type: Satyr are humanoids with the Fae subtype.
  • Size: Satyr are medium.
  • Speed: Satyr have a base speed of 40ft
  • Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common.

Darkvision (x)

You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Faerie Folk (1)

You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep, nor can you be aged magically.

Fae Magic (2)

You can use a musical instrument as an arcane focus to cast spells. You know the vicious mockery cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast entangle with this trait, and starting at 5th level, you can also cast suggestion with it. Once you cast a spell with this trait, you cannot cast that spell again until you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.

Mirthful Leaps (1)

Whenever you make a long or high jump, you can roll a d8 and add the number to the number of feet you cover, even when making a standing jump. This extra distance costs movement as normal.

Mystic Voice (2)

Whenever you would cast a spell, you can ignore any verbal or somatic, as well as any non-costly material components of the spell, if you do so, you must use either somatic or verbal components, even if the spell does not naturally require such components. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency bonus, regaining any spent uses after completing a long rest.

Silver Tongued (1)

You gain proficiency in the Deception and Persuasion skills as well as one musical instrument of your choice.

  • Winter Acclimation: You’re naturally adapted to cold climates, as described in chapter 5 of the Dungeon Master’s Guide, and gain advantage on checks relating to cold damage.
