Shifter Species in Syrik | World Anvil

Shifter

Though seen by many as beastkin, or worse yet, lycanthropes, Shifter's are far more than anyone could imagine, Shifters are mortals with an innate connection to the Feywild, bounded as one, these beings souls are touched by the spirits themselves, entwined and connected it is said each Shifter's soul is bound to that of a spirit that tether's them to reality and to their senses, for without this tether the beast that lives within the heart of each shifter would surely take hold of its host.
