Order of The Bright Lord

Structure

The Order of The Bright Lord is headed by the High Vestellus, an individual who is believed to be chosen for his position by The Bright Lord himself. The High Vestellus is in turn supported by a council of Bright Stellans, who are the leaders of the five major temples scattered over The Unition of Almusia.
Answering directly to the Bright Stellans are:

• Justices, those who deliver the judgement of The Bright Lord as directed by their Bright Stellans.
• Inquisitors, those who discover who goes against the tenets of The Bright Lord.
• Stellans, those who deliver the word of The Bright Lord in major and minor temples.

• Unite under his name, and never besmirch it.
• Maintain law and order as He would wish it done.
• Stand strong against those who seek to divide.
• Be one and worship Him together.
• Cleanse the world of lawlessness and chaos.

Public Agenda

In answering the Commands of The Bright Lord, The Shining Order conduct large-scale worship in every major city across The Unition of Almusia. This is supported by the edict of the King, who is using the wide reach of The Order to unite Almusia under his reign. Given The Bright Lord directly opposes usurpation, as long as the King keeps the High Vestellus on his side, he can claim divine rule in a roundabout way.

Assets

While openly The Order runs many charitable organisations protecting and helping those less fortunate folks across The Unition, the coffers are kept tightly shut and are well-watched. Divided across the major temples, so as not to keep all their material wealth in one place, The Order has amassed a huge wealth of gilt, selv, jewels and magical artifacts. Not to mention the many temples and buildings that have been built with their funds, or donated with the generous thanks of their wealthier worshipers.

History

The Order of The Bright Lord only holds actual power in The Unition. While The Bright Lord is worshiped all across Syshir, political tensions between the Bright Lord's Sanctum (the faction of His worship in the Enthar Empire) has caused a very clear division to be made between the two groups. A Bright Stellan of The Order holds no rank or title on Enthar soil.
