Morphic Antimatter

Morphic Antimatter has the same properties as standard antimatter, in that it can annihilate matter. The difference is that Morphic Antimatter is engineered and able to alter its form to match whatever matter it first comes into contact with - annihilating with the first thing it touches.

Material Characteristics

If it's ever amassed in enough quantity to be visible to the human eye, it takes the form of an abyssal-black sphere. The spheres of it will appear to writhe and vibrate in different frequencies with no external interference.

History & Usage

History

The main use for the Varish was energy production. While friendly and co-operative with humans from Salus, this is one of the few things they are unwilling to share.
As tensions increased and war broke out with the Bionic Technocracy, the potential for the technology to be weaponised was realised.
This is used as a weapon for the first time against Systora, aimed at Vessa and destroying it -

except for The Weight of The World, which is later found to be the gravitic powersource of the weapon; which also happens to be completely immune to annihilation.

Discovery

Created by the Varish in experiments to harness the power of more abundant elements, instead of relying on harder-to-obtain ones.

Everyday use

Energy production for all civilised settlements on Vara.

Hazards

If not properly contained wihin a stable vacuum, with magnetic fields, the matter annihilation will result in a catastrophic release of energy.
