Fort Adrogin

At the border of the desolated wastes known as World's End, Fort Adrogin has stood a critically important task. Here, in the constant battle against the Dreadlords of Hell, the Triumverate War still wages on constantly. The Paladins of T'sara and others comitted to the cause of wickedness have constantly kept the enemy back.

Demographics

The population of the fort is primarily human, which may say more of churches recruiting their paladins than about the fort. All are welcome here so long as they are able and willing to stand watch and fight the Dreadlords. Even a few Orcs, former allies of the Dreadlords, have fought here for a time.

Government

Being a fort, the government and organization here is that of a military structure, although no standing army from any nation takes command, not even the local Vahnian Army. The structure here is more informal and more meritocratic; with the high casualty rates, whoever is thought to be the best for the position and has the most experience in a position is allowed to take it. With everyone here for the same cause, there is minimal squabbling here. Noone comes to the border of World's End to seek glory or power.

Guilds and Factions

Despite the disparate orders and causes that feed into the Fort, factionalism is minimal. Although the Nation of Vahn, named from the God Vahn himself, does not send any of it's army here, independant Paladins and citizens make the largest number. The second largest sect are the equally militant Keepers of the Watch, ardent followers of the god of Justice and the Eternal Flame, Mastro. Holy warriors from similar faiths are also present, and often band together. The smallest denomination are those who have no explicit religious or evangelical cause to fight here, but still find it a moral necessity. Often, these souls have fought Hell's footsoldiers elsewhere in T'sara, confronted a Demonologist cult that worships this form of evil, or been convinced by a veteran of holy war of this conflict's importance.
Type
Military, Base
The biggest problem that's not being discussed is the dwindling number of paladins and soldiers volunteering to fight here. Fort Adrogin has never required conscripts or mercenaries to make up it's force, and there's no willingness to start that soon.

The Dreadlords have not pressed their advantage, though they have to know the situation. What they might be up to is currently beyond the knowledge or insight of any mortal mind.
