Muaclun

Where is the continent located?

Muaclun is the southern landmass of the triad continents, south of Gibora and southwest of Itk'reth. Based on ancient documents and recent explorations, it is an agreed-upon fact that the triad continents were once a huge continent that broke apart during the Rending, and its southern part became Muaclun.

Well-known landscapes of the continent

The most notable is the Southern Marshes. Everybody knows it is located in Muaclun. The other prominent part of Muaclun is the Fiery Frost Mountain, a massive volcano on the southeastern edge of Muaclun, connecting Tacillia to the elemental plane of fire and cold. A lesser-known feature of Muaclun is the Bogroot Hills, located on the northwestern part of the continent down to the Southern Marshes. These rolling hills, along with scrubland, brambly, groves, and peat-bog close to the swamp, are the most livable part of Muaclun. And last but not least, the Hunting grounds, an arid flatland north of the Fiery Frost Mountain.

What lives there?

With many dangerous swamp creatures, the Southern Marshes are the Degraded's home, and on the outskirts, it is the home of the Cursed. At the feet of the Fiery Frost Mountain lives the lupian. Even they rarely venture to the mountain's slopes because of the hybrids. The Bogroot Hills are part of the Dominion of the Hobgoblin and are home to lizardfolk, ogres, and bugbears. Mostly herbivores and some predators live in the Hunting Grounds. However, it is the hunting grounds of the lupian, who do not like trespassing, and here hunt their Elders, the Alphas.

Dangers

If the dangerous animals weren't enough, the Southern Marshes is one of the places that temporal vortexes frequent. On the Fiery Frost Mountain, you will never know when to fall into boiling lava or freeze to an icicle in minutes. And on the Hunting Grounds, you will want to avoid meeting a lupian or the Alphas.
I never visited Muaclun by myself. Having a big group is a must
