The Settlement of the Decrepit Woods
The purpose of the document
The purpose is to transfer ownership of the Decrepit Woods from the Dreadmaw Tribe to Bloodscale Solutions.
What does the document look like?
Because the bugbears use animal skins if they want something to write down, the Bloodscale Solution paid great attention to having the best-quality skins as material for the settlement. The settlement is written in two languages: bugbear and lizardfolk. It was signed by both the company's owner and the war chief of the bugbear tribe, and it was endorsed by a Dominion lawyer.
The content of the document
The document certifies that the company's members can enter the Decrepid Woods, even though the forest is in bugbear territory. The settlement is extended automatically yearly if the parties don't raise any objections against it. After every extension, the company will pay the yearly dues. Both parties are guaranteed that they can cancel the settlement anytime they want. The forest's borders are specified in the document, as much as you can define anything in a forest. Mostly these specifications are "north of the bould that looks like an ogre head", "east from the green streams", etc.
If someone wants to, where can they read the document?
The document can be found at Bloodscale Solution's headquarters in Tideclaw. It was a bold decision to keep an important document like this there because the town is full of thieves, and someone would probably pay good money to have it stolen.
What is the truth about the document?
It is a complete and utter lie. The document itself exists, but it is a fake. The bugbear tribe didn't sell anything, and didn't sign anything. The Bloodscale Solution company exists but it is only a shell company of the Circle of Savagery. The circle thought that the Decrepit Woods would be an ideal place for their rituals and forged the document. The circle knows that the bugbear doesn't care about what happens in a remote part of their forests, and the woods of the bugbear are so far from civilization that nobody will verify the truth behind the document.
This settlement is my most outstanding achievement
