Treasure hunter

Treasure hunters are adventurous people who can distinguish the bones of a rhino from the bones of an ancient beast, the wheels of a wagon from the steering wheels of an archaic technology, and some of them can even recognize long-lost magic.
They don't have a caste system among them. They distinguish themselves based on their experience and deeds, and the most famous or infamy treasure hunters are known everywhere.
Those who start this profession wander the Dominion; if daring, they will explore the depths of the oceans too. These two places, although dangerous, do not compare to other, riskier sites. The next phase in the life and experience of a treasure hunter is the Pristine Prairie and the Southern Marshes. One is teaming with wild and deadly animals and beasts, while the other is teaming with wild and maybe even more savage humanoids. Many of them have Cursed abilities. At the pinnacle of their skills and knowledge, treasure hunters try their luck with the tunnels the tobzoshkuh dig under the Pristine Prairie during their swarming. This place is not for the faint of heart and will test the most enduring people.
Because of these people's varied skillset, they are employed by various parties as scouts, hunters, and many times as knowledgeable acquaintances. Usually, these are fixed contracts for a given period, not full-time employment. Everybody knows that you can't tie down a genuine treasure hunter. The call of the wild is too strong in them.
There is another group of treasure hunters in the service of nobles or organizations specialized in looking for ancient artifacts. Regular treasure hunters frown upon these official explorers and call them scavengers. These two groups never mix, and if a scavenger leaves the service of their noble or organization, it will take a lot of time and energy to be accepted by traditional treasure hunters. The most notable organization is the infamous consortium Hounds of Artifact, Relic, and Débris. In short, H.O.A.R.D.
They don't know, but they are our eyes and ears where we can't or don't want to go
