In the beginning, the world was unformed and static, filled with rampant chaos. Through the millennia, the world would be boiled and quenched by the elemental planes, tempering the planet like a blacksmith tempering a blade.   As life started to bloom on this unknown planet, many of the primal races would start to build up empires, praising deities that were previously unknown. Many of these deities would struggle and scheme, trying to attain as much power as possible. Using their followers as pawns in their wars, they would almost end the world several times over.   In the common age, due to the devastation of the age of calamity, most of the gods have stopped their struggling for power, allowing for relative peace and prosperity of most nations.
