Rekko Swamp

Rekko Swamp is located south of the Great Wall.  Fed by the Elwin River located to the North of the Great Wall the swamp is practically impassable except by it's Lizardfolk and Tortle denizens.  A sentry castle was built here during the construction of the Great Wall, but the cost of maintaining it in such a treacherous area soon became cost prohibitive.  Especially as the war continued and lost souls from the Killing Fields made their way into the Northern portion of the swamp.  The undead proved enough of a deterrent to the Dynasty forces and eventually the area was abandoned by both forces.
Undead and spirits plague this area and many a wayward traveler has been swallowed by the swamp never to be seen again.
