Gnolls

Gnolls are large hyena-like people with a reputation for being noisy, brutish, and mean-spirited. In truth they are highly intelligent but easily amused, have unique forms of communication, and are simply suspicious of non-gnolls with good reason. Of the three forcefully colonized races they have faced the most hunting, and some people still illegally treat them as hunting trophies today. Gnolls are very physically powerful and often find themselves filling the hard labor rolls others don't want to make ends meet.
