Knights of the Gryphon
Based out of Armathain Keep within the Canraine Mountains, the Knights of the Gryphon are a Myrellian order of knights renowned for their skill and usage of Gryphon mounts. The Knights of the Gryphon are one of the few groups able to reliably tame the otherwise stubbornly proud Gryphons, with each knight sharing a strong bond with their Gryphon mount. It's thanks to this bond that the Gryphon Knights are considered to be one of the finest knightly orders in Myrell (and perhaps the rest of Imera as well), and why they excell as monster hunters, elite aerial cavalry, and defenders of Myrell and Athenor.
Structure
Knight-Marshal: The highest rank among the Gryphon Knights, in charge of managing the order, and serving as the orders representative when interacting with other factions.
Knight-Commander: Second-in-command to the Knight-Marshal, and military leader of the Gryphon Knights, responsible for recruiting and training members, and leading the order in military matters.
Knight-Captain: Rank reserved for senior members of the Gryphon Knights, these knights often serve as leaders of small teams of lower ranking knights.
Knight: The rank-and-file members of the Gryphon Knights.

Culture
The Knights of the Gryphon, like all knightly orders, hold themselves to a code of chavalric conduct that emphasises respect, honourable behaviour, and a willingness to give aid to those in need. The Gryphon Knights also foster a deep sense of loyalty to their homeland of Myrell, the neighbouring nation of Athenor, and their people, and a drive to constantly hone their skills.
Public Agenda
The Knights of the Gryphon serve as the most elite defenders of the human kingdom of Myrell. To this end, they are often found serving as elite airborne infantry during conflict, or serving as elite monster hunters, with a particular focus on flying beasts.
Assets
The Knights of the Gryphon have access to high quality weapons and armour for both themselves and their mounts, as well as the facilities, materials, and gear to maintain and repair them. They also have access to a large keep within the Canraine Mountains that serves as their base of operations, as well as an aerie for their Gryphon mounts.
