Mark Summer Camp 2024 Reading Challenge
Another year, another Summer Camp for the books. Not only did I have the opportunity to further flesh out my own world, but I've also had the chance to see some amazing articles from other worldbuilders! A few of my personal favourites, in no particular order:
Besides these articles, I would like to give a quick mention to two of my favourite worlds that I've found through this Summer Camp challenge:
- Tuulammanulaasosa by Kittymonster, for its wholesomeness.
- Beyir by Wreckerdwarf, for its fun take on a "mythical beast".
- Fire Elves by Chrispy0, for it's unique take on a common fantasy race.
- River Rat by barriesaxxy, for the interesting story attached to it.
- Deithar by ptahsekhet, for the in-depth descriptions of the items, their traits, and their history.
- The Order of the Red Maple by hallucigenia, for it's unique premise of a ecologically focused knightly order.
- The Shattered Isle by hedonistink, for the interesting contrast between the natural beauty of the region and the disasters it experiences.
- Second Kavasian War by worldwildbuilder, for the in-depth history of the conflict, as well as the interesting balance of power between the two forces.
- Malvarro's Vanguard Rally Speech by Gillymaya, for the quality of the writting and it's historical significance within its setting.
- The Dawnbringers by DMSirSwank99, for the interesting premise of it being an order operating on the brink of dissolution.
Besides these articles, I would like to give a quick mention to two of my favourite worlds that I've found through this Summer Camp challenge:
- Vreathe by Chrispy0. I greatly enjoyed reading about the people and history of this setting, and the infussion of some sci-fi elements has also piqued my interest. I also really enjoyed reading the story woven throughout the arcticles submitted by the author for this challenge.
- Waking Materia by halucigenia. One of the more recent worlds I've found, but it's unique, multi-planar setting has already caught my interest, and I look forward to seeing more from it!
Thank you so much for featuring Tuulammanulaasosa. <3
My pleasure, it was a really enjoyable read!
