Nimri (Nihm-ree)

Commonly found throughout the forests of the Silverlight Isles, the Nimri are a race of small, fox-like creatures. Perhaps as a result of their supposed connection to the Fae magics that permeate so much of the Isles, the Nimri are well-known for their curious and often mischievous personalities. Due to their connection to the magic of the Isles, as well as their playful attitude, the Nimri remain a subject of interest for many, including the common folk, scholars of the natural world, and those with a fascination with exotic pets.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Genetics and Reproduction

The Nimri give birth to live young, with gestation often taking around 2-3 months.

Ecology and Habitats

The Nimri are typically found in forested areas, where they would often make their dens below the roots of trees, or among their branches.

Dietary Needs and Habits

The Nimri are omnivorous, feeding on small animals (like mice, squirrels, and rabbits) and fruits (like berries and apples). They are capable of digging or climbing in order to reach their food.
