Salamander
Found in volcanic regions throughout Taeva, both above and below ground, Salamanders are one of the hardiest creatures in the world. Due to their choice of habitat, these creatures are a rare sight throughout the world, which only adds to the mystique surrounding them. As a result of their ability to survive in environments most would find inhospitable, as well as their close connection to the element of fire, Salamanders are regarded as a symbol of power and resilience by the Dark Elves, and are highly respected by the Xothgi of the Ixua Isles.
