Stoneshells
The jungles of Xaexl within southern Vraelia are home to a number of exotic creatures not found anywhere else in Taeva, and the Stoneshells are no different. While the slow speed of these large turtles would have made them easy prey for any opportunistic predators, they have a defensive advantage in the hard, stone-like shells that give them their name. When combined with the powerful bite of their beak-like jaws, Stoneshells are considered to be one of the best defensive fighters in the animal kingdom.
