Virak

Commonly found Living in packs in the mountainous lands of Dranya, the Virak (sometimes called "Dragon Wolves" or "Drake Hounds") are one of the strangest creatures in Vraelia. While most consider them to be more of a draconic mutation than true dragonkin, the Virak are still able to coexist with the native Drakai people.

Anatomy

Virak have a body similar to that of a wolf with various draconic traits, with a furred face and body, a bushy tail, a scaled underbelly, legs with a mix of scales and fur that in in Dragon-like claws, and a pair of backwards facing horns.

Genetics and Reproduction

Despite possessing various draconic traits, Virak give birth to live young, with pups taking around 5 months to fully gestate.
