By the time of the construction of The Sanctuary—a massive black iron wall enclosing Drath Lashai and the Weaver’s palace at Chandorvid—the Uvan Empire had become a formidable force on the world stage, embodying a chilling combination of technological ambition, paranoia, and authoritarian control.
