Ilweh

POPULATION: 50K   CITIES: Honouri    TOWNS: Mujkul, Allaob   VILLAGES: Sakusak, Urap
The smaller island of Ilweh is a realm imbued with enigma and intrigue. Its singular city, Honouri, is a hub for scholars and researchers from across the continen, drawn to the ancient, weather-beaten ruins that dot the landscape. These remnants of an elder civilization whisper tales of a past era, the Qildabic Uyun Period (UT 904-733), captivating all who venture here. Yet, Ilweh is not just an island of the past; its vibrant present resounds in the rhythm of the Qinoo drums, indigenous musical instruments crafted from the unique Sayyadi trees that fringe the island. Locals claim the sound of the Qinoo can calm the aggressive Yora - sea serpents inhabiting the surrounding waters, a belief held sacred by the residents. On this island, every rock and stream appears to harbour a secret, adding to its charm. Unlike Tacwadh’s diverse landscapes, Ilweh's rugged, untamed terrain invites the bold and the curious, a place where past and present coexist in a fascinating dance.
