The region of Minefig, with its capital Narcul, is an intriguing mix of ruthless efficiency and unchecked capitalism under the rule of the Gäfhi family. It's a land of stark contrasts, where draconian policies and entrepreneurial spirit collide.   In the mainland city of Veologi, you can find the headquarters of the Exalted Guild of Precious Metal Purveyors and Unflinching Extractors of the Earth’s Bounty. This boisterous conglomerate of miners, jewelers, and traders controls the local production of gold, silver, and other precious resources. They flaunt their wealth openly, adorning their headquarters with gaudy golden statues and elaborate architectural details.   On the Hablen Shore, the coastal city of Aticalbehed houses the Valiant Fellowship of Oceanic Harpooners, Tenacious Traders of the Teeming Sea’s Gifts. This guild of fishermen and traders prides itself on controlling the bounty of the sea, from fish and crustaceans to sea pearls and other maritime treasures. Their guild house is an imposing structure shaped like a gigantic sea monster, its eye gleaming with a massive pearl.   The rivalry between these two guilds fuels the bustling marketplaces of Minefig, their contention for dominance a driving force for innovation and expansion, albeit often spilling over into violent conflicts and public spectacles.   The village of Avemgarcu has a peculiar feature: it's built entirely on stilts. Originally a necessary adaptation to the region's seasonal flooding, these elevated structures have become more of a strange aesthetic feature contributing to the village's unusual charm these days, given that in recent years excess water has become decidedly rarer.   Meanwhile, Babwrit, another small village, attracts pilgrims from far and wide due to an ancient artifact believed to be blessed by the The Blue Giver deity. Known as the Conch of Eternal Echoes, the object is revered as a divine sign of the Blue Giver's unending generosity, ensuring that the bounty of the sea is always within reach. Every year during the Sea's Bounty Festival, the conch is taken out in a grand procession and thousands gather to pay homage and receive the blessings of the sea deity.
