On the eastern border of Najamur lies Qahawe, a region wrapped in the intoxicating aroma of its world-renowned coffee plantations. Its fertile volcanic soil and ideal climate make it perfect for growing these precious beans. Historical accounts suggest that coffee was introduced here by the nomadic Qeh tribes, who discovered the energizing effects of the beans during their long journeys across the desert. Qahawe is also the birthplace of the influential philosopher, Gaheez, who used the local coffee houses as a platform to share his groundbreaking ideas, turning these establishments into hubs of intellectual discourse.
