Shivell is a region steeped in a palpable sense of unease due to the Kscheings' erratic rule; but even so, it boasts several points of interest that not only reveal its rich history but also its residents' resilience and ingenuity. Ateramfit, the capital, houses the Sovereign's Crown, a towering sculpture crafted from silver and precious gemstones, believed to be a divine token that legitimizes the Kscheings' right to rule. It sits in the center of the Kscheing castle, guarded around the clock. The Mystical Market (whose whimsical name belies the fact that folks are rather antagonistic to magic around here) is another must-visit place in the capital. This lively bazaar, where vendors sell all sorts of peculiar items from odd trinkets to mysterious potions, is a testament to the inventive and entrepreneurial spirit of the local people. Lastly, there's Whispers Park, a lush green space with a unique acoustic phenomenon - whispered words can be heard clearly from one end of the park to the other, adding an air of magic and mystery to this serene retreat. In Tiveneer, visitors are drawn to the Grand Amphitheater, a marvel of architectural ingenuity and the center of local cultural activities, hosting performances, public debates, and gatherings. The city of Alloner houses the Looming Library, a massive building filled with scrolls and books collected from all over the continent - a treasure trove for scholars and knowledge seekers. Finally, Pringreep is famous for its Rainbow Ponds, a series of shallow bodies of water that change colors throughout the day due to the unique mineral deposits in the water and angle of sunlight. Shivell has also been home to some distinguished individuals. One is the revered scholar Dremion Oltaire, author of several widely read texts on Tralgonian history and culture. Despite (or perhaps, on account of) the Kscheings' unpredictable rule, he managed to become a respected figure across Tyril, as tales of Kscheing madness do so happen to have garnered a certain interest far and wide. The Kscheings, typically oddly, quite enjoy rumours great and small circulating about them, and have not to date stopped any of Oltaire's publications. The other notable figure is Lorn Tenvass, a brave political dissident. He started the populist Unity Movement to challenge the Kscheings' authority and improve the lot of common folk. His powerful speeches and the hope he instilled in people made him immensely popular, which also led to his tragic end. In a public demonstration of power, a Kscheing axe found its way to his neck. His martyrdom, however, only strengthened the resolve of the Unity Movement and turned him into a symbol of resistance against the Kscheings' rule. Today, leaders of the movement skulk about city streets, holding whispered meetings in secret.
