The Lost Era

Metaphysical / Paranormal event

A precisely sixty-year period, to the day and possibly even the hour, that is utterly unattested in all historical and archaeological records. Written histories and even calendars from this era appear to skip over this period entirely, and contemporary scholars have yet to figure out why.

In spite of the thorough work done by academics of all relevant disciplines in documenting the course of the Continent's history, there is a period of precisely sixty years, to the day, which remains completely unaccounted for. Neither the writings of empires nor the physical archaeological records of ancient sites attest whatsoever to what transpired during these sixty years, yet all documented dynastic records and even surviving calendars from the era appear to completely skip this period. For instance, among the ancient civilizations of Vast Takhet, there are several instances in which one king's reign is attested before the Lost Era, his grandson's reign is attested after it, and yet the father goes unmentioned and nothing is known of his reign.
