Explanation -
The timeline in the mortal world of Talion was settled upon in a conference in the year 2647 AT. This conference in Talevesh City was attended by many of the major world players at the time including Talevesh, Remoria, the Farghul Empire, the Ithican Empire, the Kingdom of Berellia, the Brass Empire, and a few other minor nations (Note that the BlackSea Empire, the Desert nations and the collective Xue Dynasty were not present). This conference was held in the Centennial Talevesh Grand General Conference in which this agreement on the general calender is in Section II and the agreement on the general timeline is in Section III of the negotiations. In this agreement it established a general calendar for years and a timeline for world eras.
Yearly Calendar -
In the conference it was decided to use the Farghul way of timings and days. This meant that every day would have 24 hours separated into 60 minutes and those into 60 seconds. This also meant that every 10 days is considered a week in which the names of these day were Leifday, Ariday, Stonday, Zelday, Chiday, Farday, Triday, Koday, Sunday, and Moonday. Then they decided that there would be 9 months each having 4 weeks or 40 days. there names for the months are Aber, Diber, Triber, Quadber, Quinber, Hexber, September, October, November. Then after much debate they decided on having 5 extra days in the year called Celebratio to celebrate the exact time when Tiamat was defeated which with calendar would be on the 5th day. This meant that the calendar had a total of 365 days and matched up with the seasons.
Timeline of Eras -
During the conference there were many events and periods of time that were brought up that could be considered Eras of time but the leaders of the world decided on having the era timeline be based off of Tiamat's reign and the End of the Origin War. This leads to there being 4 Eras: Before Origin War (BO), After Origin War (AO), During Tiamat's Reign (DT), and After Tiamat's Reign (AT). In total the Universal Time is set to start from 0 at the same 0 as the After Origin War 0. This number would mean the current Universal year is 8926.
Before Origin War (BO):
This is the first Era and it starts when the Universe was created and it ends at the time the Origin War ended. It is written to start at 0 BO which is the end of the war then to grow in number possibly infinitely like the BCE system in our world sometimes written with or without a negative. Not many dates are actually officialized here because this time period was so long ago.
After Origin War (AO):
This is the second Era and it starts at 0 when the Origin War ended and it ended when Tiamat descended upon the mortal world 3842 years later.
During Tiamat's Reign (DT):
This is the third Era and it starts at 3843 AO about a year after when Tiamat descended and it ends 2017 years later when Tiamat was defeated. It is written to start at 0 DT (which is 3843 AO) and then go up in time to 2017 DT.
After Tiamat's Reign (AT):
This is the fourth and current Era of the mortal world it starts at 2018 DT one day after Tiamat was defeated and it currently has no ending as it is the current Era. It is written to start at 0 AT (which is 2018 DT) and then go up in time until the current year which is 3067 AT.
Possible Timeline Edits -
There are some people over the years have offered to make changes or add eras to the timeline. Some have made it to official talks but none have gain enough support to be official. One of the new proposals is to have Tiamat's second defeat in 3059 AT as being the start of a new Era called the Mortal Era but it is generally not considered to be era defining enough because nothing really has changed... Yet.
