Suzune Goddess of Trickery (Soo-zoo-nay)

Suzune is the Goddess of Trickery, Silence, Travel, Adventuring, Trade, and Perseverance. She is also called "The Silent Wanderer" and "The Mortal Goddess".

Appearance -

The Goddess of Trickery often takes the appearance of a young adult Elf with long black hair that widens as it reaches her hips. She has sharp eyes that are mixes of red and purple depending on her state of mind. Her face is usually of a sharp, calculating, and stoic look. She usually wears a large black cloak with a shadow colored battle dress with her emblem on her chest and dark red and dark green linings under it. Her emblem is a gold coin in a black up facing triangle that at the bottom spells "ssri sehan". But while adventuring she often wears lighter armored clothing that is varied based on different cultures of the planes.

History -

Suzune was born a Half-Elf Goddess on the 15th of Diber, 3 AT. She is the second child of the Gods Atochi God of Justice and Hazelia Goddess of Nature. She grew up close to her mother and in envy of her much more powerful and intelligent older brother.
In legend when Suzune was growing up she would often go to places in the non heavenly planes to observe the humanoids and learn from them. She would do this by sneaking out of her mothers protective eye to the planes with her innate trickery magic. The are stories of her as a child going through and exploring bustling new cities in the post Tiamat era. She would loudly and playfully observe merchants and trade in action as she was amazed by the complex and interesting ways of mortal lives and the art of commerce. She would learn and grow up to become a symbol of the trade and the perseverance of merchants. When Suzune was young she was described as very curious, crafty, and playful. She would always charm and "innocently" trick people into doing the things she wants.
While that's how she was with mortals her life with the other gods was not as great for her. Besides her relationship with her mother, the only person she generally spends time with is her brother Kiyotaka. But as Kiyotaka grew he often used Suzune for his increasingly devious and malicious plans. He would often manipulate her emotions to get her to do evil acts against the people of the planes. And yet she was still always envious of her brother's intelligence and strength compared to hers. As years passed this would lead to lasting sociological damage of self doubt and changing her personality to be more depressed, serious, untrusting, and stoic. Instead of playing and trading with mortals she slowly traveled the planes trying to improve herself in a sort of exile after one particularly extreme incident with her brother.
When Suzune was around two hundred years old she got involved with a particular incident in the mortal plane. This event had a large and drastic effect on the world of Tailon and its effects are still felt today. While many were involved including Suzune and Kiyotaka she took much more blame than her brother who she believes orchestrated the whole event. Her punishment by her father, brought her into a self imposed exile to the non-heavenly planes. Furious in the belief that her brother betrayed her again and in the revelation of his secret plan called "The Eclipse", she vowed to kill her brother and stop his plans

Relations -

For most of the Pantheon Gods Suzune doesn't have much of a relationship with them. Most don't mind her unless she breaks the rules too much by interfering with the mortal world. Only her mother, Hazelia, regularly goes out of her way to check up on her daughter and the two of them are in a good relationship. Suzune mostly interacts with mortals as she goes around the planes with her alias as Sehana Hyrasi. Many who have met or even known her for their entire lives don't even know who she really is. Even though she interacts with mortals regularly she has never gotten into relationships more deep than acquaintances. She is one of the only Pantheon Gods with no prior or current lovers or children.

General -

Suzune believes that commerce connects people and is the basis of mortal interaction. She also believes that the world is precious and should be experienced and it should not be desecrated. She hates the evil of the world but also believes that some underhanded methods are needed to beat the true evil. She usually just wanders the planes learning new things and meeting people along the way and acting like just any other mortal elven adventurer.
The Goddess of Trickery rarely ever fights but she is deceptively strong and according to the King of the Gods she is more powerful than even she believes. But she will fight against the forces of her brother and use everything she has to defeat him. While she often presents herself as stoic and unemotional, she secretly cares greatly for her followers and the world.
Her followers are usually in three types. The most common being the average adventurer, merchant, and/or business person who just wants the Goddess' blessing of trade, adventuring, or travel. The second type are devout followers who worship her trickery and her goals to destroy the God of Manipulation. The third type are a more dark sect called the Shade Travelers that worship her darker magics and travel around in groups that sometimes are heroes of villages or villains of trickery across the planes. In terms of cleric subclasses she can represent Trickery, Knowledge, and Twilight domains.
