The Colored-Mage Council

This Council is a secret organization of powerful mages, who are dedicated to the discovery of “____________________”, “______”. This council is composed of 10 powerful mages which are each appointed by the head mage (White). Each member is designated a color to personify themselves and their own study. These colors are: Black, Blue, Brown, Gray, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, and Yellow. The head of the organization is another mage called The White and is and has always been Ocram the White.
The Colored-Mage Council is based at the Brilliant Tower in the Castle Ward of Skyreach City, Zarin Empire. This is where Ocram lives and where the other 10 mages meet up when called.
The names of the current 10 mages: Reymond Utochi The Black, Skyia the Blue, Havodon the Brown, Skitts the Gray, Versica Clearhand the Green, Bojac Tesroc the Orange, Xoza the Pink, Lardac the Purple, Pheta the Red, and Torkohm Firstpride the Yellow. (Septimus the Yellow). While many of the positions of the council rarely change, there is the possibility of a situation that a member will lose their spot. If an aspiring mage wants to join the Colored-Mage Council they must make an official application to Orcam the White. If they are evaluated by the White to be eligible to join, they will have to either wait for the retirement or death of a current member or have Grand Mage Duel for the spot. The major problem with the ladder method is that the occupying mage can simply deny partaking in a duel and keep their position.
The Council was founded on the 4th of Triber, 3223 AO by Ocram the White after the Shadow War (3208-3215 AO). Ocram fought in that war and was the strongest spell caster on the mortal side. After the war and seeing Lapidus’ Ascension first hand, he sought to understand the power that allowed souls to use Divine and Primordial Energy to become Gods. So he and a few others banded together to study these forces.
After a few years Ocram and his group discovered a hint of the truth through the aspect of a “Shining Shade”. This truth affected these members in inconceivable ways causing them to shift focus to the truth behind “______”. The changes within the members of the group caused them to fight and go their separate ways to find their way to the truth. Before they went their different ways, Ocram convinced them as leader to found the Colored-Mage Council so they can keep in contact and relay to each their findings in “______”.
Since then the Council has made several discoveries over thousands of years, but Ocram still believes that they still have not reached the all important clue that would help them understand the truth. Some of the past Mages once believed that the world itself is against them knowing the truth.
