The Void’s Botany Manual

Chapter 1 - Void Trees -

“Void Trees” are originally pieces from the World Tree that were “Corrupted” by the power of the abyss. These “Corrupted” pieces are called “Void Fibers” and are used by many abyssal powers. By purifying high quality Void Fibers, a “Blank Stem” can be made. These stems are nearly unbreakable, unmalleable, while barely reacting to any other outside stimuli. But by infusing the “Blank Stems” with different “Classifications” of magic, they can be imbued with special properties depending on which School of magic is used.   To Imbue the “Blank Stems” require expert planting and botany skills to plant the stems. Then when they are stimulated with different classes of magic they absorb the power and quickly grow to about 6-8 feet tall and grow 6-10 flowers. I have called these grown structures Void Trees.   Each different Void Tree’s flowers emulate a different property based on the methods of its creation. These flowers will bloom into fruits every 3 weeks. These fruits have much more potent properties than flowers. But the properties of eating a flower or fruit doesn’t stack with ones from other trees. Additionally, the positive or negative properties gained from ingesting these plants can’t be gained again after first consumption until the end of a long rest. Finally, from my testing flowers nor fruits can be planted to grow into any additional Void Trees or into any other form.   Currently I have discovered 8 different Void Trees each corresponding to the 8 different schools of magic. These are Abjuration, Conjuration, Divination, Enchantment, Evocation, Illusion, Necromancy, and Transmutation Trees. Each of the Trees and their properties are listed below.
