Founding of Gwessar
FoundingElven sorceress Yenlara guides the elves who survived the Calamity out of the Feywild, and back to what would later be known as Tal'Dorei. In the untamed forest of the Verdant Expanse in the west of Tal'Dorei, Yenlara's people constructed a new settlement called Syngorn. The elves came to call this land Gwessar, the Fields of Joy in their own tongue.

Humans Colonise Gwessar
Discovery, ExplorationAfter the Elves and the Dwarves had begun to tame the land of the chaotic energies left behind by the Calamity, the humans began to sail across the Ozmit Sea from Issylra, looking for new home. Their presence vexed the Elves of Gwessar, because the short-lived humans would build their homes and colonies from forests that had stood for longer than many Elves had been alive.
