Government

Bearkeep is run by Thunderrock Industries. Though there is an appointed governor who takes care of non industry affairs, rules and regulations have been laid down by Thunderrock Industry Officials in Nordgurd.

Defences

The automatons that work in the lumberyard are also equipped to defend themselves. Otherwise Bearkeep's greatest defense is it's distance from the rest of Aludel.

Industry & Trade

The main export from Bearkeep is Lumber, however, since Thunderrock Industries has taken over the lumber trade in Bearkeep most of the citizens don't see any pay from the lumber's sale. This has caused many people to move away or turn to other methods to feed their families.

Infrastructure

Bearkeep has a massive lumbermill and an even bigger lumberyard. They work round the clock with the help of dwarven automatons. This allows for a very small staff of living people (mostly dwarves from the Ice Crown) to watch over the work and make repairs when needed.
