Personal history

Conrad's family grew up as lower class citizens in Bearkeep. Through some hard work they managed to get themselves to a place where they are now fairly well off. His father, Paris Randal, is a Horse Breeder. When Conrad was growing up his family lived in a guildhall because they were unable to afford anywhere else and the guildhall provided room and board in exchanged for work. Conrad was born in a kitchen.
Conrad is the youngest of 10 siblings: Cerdic, Braedon, Jeff, Gerold, Adalwine, Millicent, Cara, Camila, Lisenka, and Alia.
Conrad's father has always claimed that he was kidnapped by strange creatures with pointy ears, long heads, green skin, and flat noses. He says they brought him to a floating city in a grey land unlike any he had ever seen. He says he managed to escape and traveled throughout the planes seeing amazing things before finally returning home. Conrad's mother, Deanna, said Paris was gone maybe ten minutes before she found him passed out in a barn with a lot of empty tankards around them. Paris said it was the planeshopping band of Dwarves who left those there but most people just roll their eyes.
Deanna's sister, Bina, married the heiress to a large fortune in Nordgurd. After that happened Bina sent Deanna and Paris enough money to get on their feet and for Paris to buy a small house and stable and begin his Horse Breeding business.
Conrad ran away from home when he was young. There was no legitimate reason. His sister had eaten his piece of pie and his parents weren't able to deal with it right then. He was upset and ran away with full intentions of never going back. Before he even left the city he turned down an alley and ran into a group of thugs ruffing up a man in nice clothes. The thugs spooked when they heard someone coming and ran. The noble was incredibly grateful. He returned Conrad to his family and gave them enough money as a reward that they were able to buy a large house and a separate plot of land outside the city with a stable for Paris to breed horses.
As he got older Conrad started having visions, like he was looking into another plane of existence from someone else's eyes. His father is overjoyed to hear it, though everyone else is skeptical and just think, like father like son. Conrad fell in love with an Ursine girl named Ninn. They were together for quite some time before they broke it off mutually so he could move away and she could pursue her dream to be a sailor. While on the road Conrad found a strange talisman in the shape of a legless, purple beast, which he says pulls his mind towards a place beyond the mountains towards Ogralon. He has never tried to follow it very far.
Eventually he found his way to Whitmere and got a job doing clerical work for the city guard. He has enjoyed his peaceful life ever since.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Survived the Raid of Whitmere successfully aiding in the routing of the Orc raiding party.
