Witch's Stump
Though the town itself has no official name, the locals have called it Witch's Stump for so long no one remembers who first came up with the name. Though the "Stump" in question still sits in the centre of town.
Since the Drow took over the town has been mostly dead. People try to take care of each other as best they can but the secluded nature of the town has led many to ease their boredom at the bottom of a bottle. Aside from the visits from their Minister's enforcer, Witch's Stump is mostly left on its own, and the townspeople do everything in their power to keep it that way. Horrible stories of slavery and worse reach their ears from time to time, encouraging everyone to keep their heads down.

Government
Due to the size of the town, Anelyen Galarina, the Drow Minister that has been put in charge, is incredibly hands off and mostly wishes she were literally anywhere else. Her bodyguard, Ilmindel Maerethar, actually keeps order in the town.
Neither Anelyen or Ilmindel live in Witch's Stump, preferring to stay in the larger town of Mossview. Ilmindel, however, makes frequent visits to the town in order to make sure everyone is staying in line.

Defences
The town's walls were ripped down during the first few months of the incursion. The only defense the town has is the thick swamp surrounding it.
Infrastructure
The people of Witch's Stump used to grow and harvest fruit and turn it into wines and other alcohol, but since the invasion have had no need for the presses which now stand mostly still. (One or two are still run to provide the town, and Anelyen, a steady supply.)
Architecture
All the homes in Witch's Stump are one story, but some spread to three or four rooms. All are built in a circular shape with wooden walls and roofs.
Geography
Witch's Stump sits in the centre of Aludel's biggest swamp. The ground varies from wet dirt, to bogs deep enough to drown a full grown Goliath.
Natural Resources
The fruit that grows in the swamp, while sour to eat, can be made into an excellent alcoholic beverage similar to wine.
