The Otherworld
"The way to Tir na nOg is lost, and now our people can't even find their way back to the gods. What do we have left, other than old songs and false hopes? How can we survive in a world where the way is shut to all but so few..."
The Otherworld is the Divine Outrealm of The Gods of Talamh. They are said to make their home in this most sacred of places, but it is not an Afterlife for the mortals of Talamh. It is where the gods take counsel and live immortal lives, and it was said people could visit there in the far past. But now the way is shut, and the people are cut off from physical contact with their deities outside of the Fabric World, forced to attempt to communicate across great barriers of land, sea, sky, and spirit.

Physicality and Nature
The Otherworld is a physical place existing outside of the flow of time, but it is affected by it nonetheless. Changes in the Fabric World are said to affect it, changing its mythical landscape to reflect the world that mortals have worked hard to cultivate. Time within the Otherworld does not flow in the same way as in the material world. Legends of great Talish heroes from the Time of Partings and subsequent eras tell of individuals spirited to the Otherworld to return years later to a world different from how they left it. Oftentimes, these individuals remained the same age while time continued to flow in the real world, plunging them into a realm of the unknown despite the time they spent with the gods. Godly servants and heroes are said to make their homes in the Otherworld as well, but it is not known how true this claim may be.
