Backstory

A Tiefling by the name of Falstas the fool (pronounced false-tes) seeks adventure due to his father, a Tiefling pirate, having gone mad in search of a ship that he lost by the name of “The Ivory Depths” and died in search of it. His mother had perished in giving birth due to the intricate horns on Falstas’s head.   In a twist of fate, he ended up a young pirate himself after helping steal a royal guards pristine rapier, but was quickly apprehended, and then broken out of with the help of a few iron hooks and a nice tug away from a frigate ship. Falstas would earn his name due to his terrible fortune, the idle prattling of shit talk attuning to the arcane magics of the world, and his not so foolish intellect, despite his parading as a drunk. However, the frigates first mate, a young woman, around his age, would attempt to steal his trusted buckler, which was his fathers, and for that, he took her finger. Ironically, the finger would turn out to be a perfect material to create a wand, to which he used a ports mage to create. Naturally, stealing the wand without payment.   Now he’s found himself with an even stranger group of peoples after fleeing the frigate.
