Hammerstone

A Dwarven citadel settled into the mountains that separate Alcea and the Heagen Empire.   Set around a dormant volcano, the lava itself does not cool with exposure but with a magical enchantment. Dwarves carry the lava from its source in large crucibles on their backs to be used in the forges and to be poured into molds for buildings. The act of removing lava through the vents has, in turn, ensured that pressure does not build and cause an eruption. The anvils and hammers that are used are made from this lava creation, which led to the name of the city.

Architecture

The architecture of the city is made from poured lava that is carried from the lava source in the mountain and set into molds that are enchanted to cool the super heated rock. As such, many of the buildings are a glassy black stone that has been carved and formed into structures in combination to carved wood.

Natural Resources

The special stone that is formed from the lava, after being magically cooled, is a durable material that is often used for anvils and hammers within the city.   Gems and
