Personal history

The woman that everyone knows as Lissa Barrow was once called Harruchin. Born in the wilds of Elplea to a nomadic tribe. Her people choosing the safety of the wilderness over the walls of the cities due to their werebear blood.
It was during a regular trade visit to the city that drew her interest in staying within the walls of Anewood. The magic similar but very different from the shamanic dances and healing of her tribe. She would regularly want to return to the city to learn more about it.
When she was barely twelve, her tribe were killed by a vicious beast. She didn't see it, but she could hear its blood curdling roar. On the command of her father, she ran from the village and directly to Anewood. There she told them what had happened to her people. They investigated and found that the entire tribe had been slain.
She was taken in by a kind, childless couple who named her Lissa Barrow and left their tavern to her after their passing. She now runs the place as the firm motherly figure of The Crossed Spears

Education

Well educated in the herbal remedies of her people, she gained a better education after being taken in by the Barrow family.

Employment

Worked and runs The Crossed Spears tavern.

The roars of the beast that killed her people still haunts her dreams from time to time.
