Tale of Four Kingdoms

It was a time of great light and cunning darkness one that humanity saw as a bright future, in this world the Kingdom of Alveria was one of four kingdoms scattered throughout the land and was in a time of great peace filled with countless prosperity and happiness but while Alveria was a peaceful place on the surface a dark threat loomed, hidden below the surface of the kingdom’s peace, this darkness came in the form of the Shade a great evil that lived without form that existed by twisting and corrupting the natural energies of light, few in the kingdom know of the true nature of this terrible evil and even fewer know it exists at all and sensing that this dark threat posed a threat to the peace and safety of not only the citizens of the kingdom but to the world itself the royal family created a secret order of warriors capable of manipulating the energies of the light to fight this evil and to keep the citizens of Alveria safe. This sacred order was named the Knights of Avalon and served as humanities defenders against the shade and sought to fight back this dark plague while keeping the majority of the kingdom unaware of the terror resting below the surface.
