"A glade most serene, deep inside the Arlingfell woods, dancing across the shores of Ryonfus, that's where I met her. She was the most beautiful being I ever laid eyes upom. And thus I stood breathless, I can't even recall for how long, my eyes fixed upon her, utterly enthralled and enamoured, watching her majestic crimson hair waving in the warm autumn wind that was blowing through the pallid leaves. I swear to the Wildmother, had I not known the dangers lurking beneath that beauty, I would approach her... Sometimes I still wish I did."
— Sgt. Harris Harper
Nymphs are the half mortal daughters of the Archfey, most commonly encountered in the Feywild, although a few of them also reside in the material realm. Nymphs live a long but vivid existence alongside other races of the Feywild, delighting themselves in beauty, laughter and mischief. They are the literal embodiments of natural splendor, breathtakingly beautiful and forever intertwined with the natural world around them.
Stunning Beauty
Nymphs are always female and gorgeous by nature. A Nymph's beauty is impossible to describe. Onlookers find themselves dubfounded in awe as their minds are usually unable to fully grasp their breathtaking, yet alien, brilliance. Much like Elves, Nymphs usually have fine characteristics although they're generally more volaptuous than their cousins.
Neverending Wanderlust
Nymphs are always eager to see and learn more about the world. Although they quickly make bonds and develop strong feelings for the people and nature around them, they always crave for more, therefore, they barely ever stay in one place for long. They travel far and wide, in search for advanture and exciting experiences. Nymphs have a deep appreciation for art and all things beautful and are generally soft-spoken, cheerful and kind. Although Nymphs can be great company, falling in love with one is deemed unwise for, much like nature, they are ever changing and unpredictable.
Extensions of Nature
Nymphs adopt distinct characteristics as they grow up. A Nymph grown up in a forest might have amber skin and rich green hair resembling the herbage of her home, while a Nymph grown by the shore might have marvellous eyes coloured like seaglass and skin of a faint golden shade. Nymphs are not merely a reflection of nature though. They are intimately intertwinned with their upbringing enviroment. If a Nymph's birthplace is despoiled, the Nymph periodically fades away or becomes twisted. In a similar manner, when a Nymph is wounded the natural environment of her birthplace diminishes or withers. Therefore, although Nymphs are adventurous and restless, they sometimes feel homesick like no other race could ever grasp.
