Clear as the azure skies of deepest summer

In 2085 there are very rare days when the sky is clear and the air is clean. Far too often there is a perpetual yellowish orange haze of some other pollutant drifting through the air. This when it is not raining acid or another toxic contaminate upon your weary head.

In Britain clear skies are generally the result of a storm front moving in and carrying the wretched contents  in the air to France. They deserve it. Or having what is left of the polar vortex sweep in and clear the skies up. Just have to watch the high ultra violet rays. 
On these days the good people of London take to the city parks. Though often these parks are private and for residents only having gates and security guards. It is still nice to be able to sit on the genetically engineered grass and enjoy the flowers and park animals that are heavily medicated and vaccinated against parasites to protect  the populace.

There is one AA mega corporation working to improve the environment on a permanent scale. That is Angel Light. Headed by Andrea Medere, Angel Light has lead several innovative research projects to clean up toxic spills, radiological contaminants and ways to restore the environment to a healthier and more pristine condition. Using a combination of drone technology ranging in size from a container ship to nanobots, to pick up the trash several areas have been cleaned of waste. More impressive is Andrea's use of magic that utterly cleans the worst filth up, to the extent that astral background counts are cleansed at the same time. So far these endeavors have been on a small scale involving square kilometers. With hope improvements can be accomplished.
