Fae

The shift in the Fae bloodlines from the event, they never stopped being magical beings but their rarity didn’t begin to differ.

Originally a determining factor for whether or not someone had lineage that would direct to a god, this eventually became something that was more-so dismissed. While every child of a god is Fae and every fae is related to a god, due to a majority of them having children who had children of their own. Now, there is a definite split between which kinds of Fae someone is. If someone is a Fae that’s related to the Elder Gods, their abilities are typically a variation of archaic magic, something destructive or protective, or just something that changes their appearance. Sometimes this means they know additional spells they didn’t seek out to know manually or have some sort of laden ability deep within them. Meanwhile, if someone is Fae of the New Gods, they’d find themselves with better maneuverability, easier fertility, and illusionary abilities. Most of the time if someone is Fae of the New Gods you can identify them by their ability to fly or float- it’s rather consistent that they are ‘light as a feather’ when moving around.
