Merfolk
Civilizations, languages, wars, currency- these people are just like the rest of us, if not more advanced for living under the sea.
Direct relatives of Susanawoo the Merfolk are the most common unique ethnicity that’s seen in Diamus, Shaar, and Hiddleburg. Even then, there is hardly any group of Merfolk that would be alike. From the Dolphae that dominate Herra’s Grave, the Shinkai that swim with them, and the Orca that populate places outside of their cities. That, however, barely scratches the surface for how many different variations of Merfolk there are. They have several underwater civilizations with their own kingdoms and populate most of the oceans that have been explored on Mitera. Even the ones that leave their civilizations in the water have a tendency to still be connected to their lineage in the water.
